Q: Will there be an expo?
A: No. We will only be having packet pickup on Friday from 5-8 and again on Saturday morning from 5 to 6:30 am (not recommended).
Q: When is the registration deadline?
A: Click here for a schedule for registration for the half marathon and 5k.
Q: How many participants will there be?
A: The field will be limited to 500 runners for the half marathon. There is no limit for the 5k.
Q: Are walkers welcome?
A: Absolutely. Just remember that the course closes in 4 hours.
Q: What about strollers and pets?
A: While we love babies and dogs, we do not allow strollers or pets on the race course for the half marathon. For the 5k strollers are allowed.
Q: How do I confirm my entry to the Half Marathon and 5k?
A: All on-line registrations will be confirmed via email. If you mail your registration, please include your email address and we will send you a confirmation email.
Q: What time does the Half Marathon start?
A: The Half Marathon starts at 7:00 a.m. CST on June 15, 2013. The start of the race will be at Luther Elementary School.
Q: What time does the 5k start?
A: The 5k starts at 7:10 a.m. CST on June 15, 2013. The start of the race will be at Luther Elementary School.
Q: Where can I get my results for the Half Marathon and 5k?
A: Results for both races will be posted in as they become available. Results will also be posted on the Half Marathon website later that day.
Q: Where do I get my race number and timing chip?
A: You can pick up your race number at the Packet Pick-Up, located in Luther Elementary School. Packet pickup will be on Friday, June 14 from 5-8 pm. You can also pick up your packet on race day from 5-6:30 (not recommended).
Q: What if I can't finish the Half Marathon?
A: There will be a vehicle following the last participants of the race. Anyone who cannot finish, or cannot keep up with the 16 minute/mile minimum pace can get a ride to the Post-Race Party Area.
Q: What is the average temperature on race day?

Q: When does the race officially end?
A: Approximately 11:00 a.m. local time (for the Half Marathon)
Q: Is there prize money for the 5k winners?
A: No. Prize money is only awarded for the half marathon.
Q: Can I defer until next year?
A: There are no refunds for the Half Marathon and 5k. Up until the date of the Half Marathon, you may request to defer your registration until 2014 with a doctor's note to prove medical need. This is for the half marathon only.

Q: Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
A: Yes. If someone is picking up your packet, please give the person who is picking up your packet your ID or a photocopy of your ID.
Q: Can I switch between the half marathon and 5k?
Q: I have a friend who cannot participate in the event, can I take his/her place?
A: Each participant must have his/her own registration. In the event of an emergency, race official must have emergency contact information on hand, therefore you are NOT allowed to participate using another persons registration. There are NO exceptions to this policy.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: There are no refunds for the Half Marathon or 5k.
